As a community library we must be self-sufficient and able to fund our operating and development costs.
Our costs
- utilities (electricity, water and so on)
- insurance
- maintenance
- staff costs
- rates
- newspapers and magazines
- cleaning
- technology, such as library computers and IT.
Buckinghamshire Council continues to provide basic book stock, but members may wish us to spend some income improving the stock.
Who has funded us
Since we started, we have received funding, or a commitment to fund, from:
- Pitstone Parish Council
- Ivinghoe Parish Council
- Slapton Parish Council
- Cheddington Parish Council
- a grant from Cllr Avril Davies Community Leader Fund
- a resource grant from Buckinghamshire County Council.
