Even when the library is closed, several Buckinghamshire Libraries services are available online: Spydus, the eLibrary and online reference resources.
E-books
As a library member you can borrow e-books as well as paper books.
You can borrow up to three items for 7, 14 or 21 days using your library card and PIN. The service is provided by Buckinghamshire Council using the OneDrive Service via your Spydus registration. All you need is your library card number and PIN.
It’s quick, easy and free to download and reserve for library members. There are no overdue charges, as e-books expire automatically at the end of the loan period. E-books can also be returned early.
You can download bestselling e-books to your computer and transfer them to your e-book reader or portable device. Please note that our e-books are not compatible with the Amazon Kindle service.

Audiobooks
You might also be interested in the audiobook service. A large range of audiobooks is available to download free of charge.
This is another Buckinghamshire Council service, using the OneClickdigital platform. To use it you’ll need your library card number and PIN to register. The audiobooks page explains how to register, download the app and use the service.
