The Reader on the 6.27

Bizarrely for a book whose main protagonist works in a book pulping factory, this is a book for lovers and lovers in general. The main character is a lonely man who finds companionship amongst the commuters on the 6.27 train he takes to work. He does this by reading out loud to them from random pages he’s salvaged at work. And by an odd twist of fate he finds love too. Some beautifully drawn characters make this unusual book a compelling and enjoyable read, with an uplifting end.
